Finding a Service

You can find the services you need by browsing the catalogue in different categories, or by using search engine and filters to find a specific service.

Placing an Order

Once you find a Gig you like, click on it for more information; – such as a description of the service, portfolio or samples of previous work, and pricing. If you have specific questions, we recommend contacting the seller prior to ordering. When you feel you’ve found what you need, simply proceed with placing your order. 

On Hire Me Center, you can be both an Employer and a Freelancer. Registration on the site is free.
To become a freelancer on our site, and start providing services and earning  money, we recommend passing the verification procedure.

To register an account on Hire Me Center, click on the “Register” button in the upper right-hand corner of the home page. A window will open.

Can I create a task immediately after registration?

Yes. After the registration process is complete, select a category, describe the task, and publish it. In just a few minutes, you will start receiving email notifications from those who are ready to complete your order.

Will I be able to receive orders immediately after registration?

Yes. After your account information is approved by the administration of Hire Me Center, you will be able to receive orders. 

If you can’t find the email, you should check your spam folder. Please make sure that contact@hireme.center is added to your address book and is not marked as spam. If you are still unable to receive emails, contact us.

In the upper right-hand corner, click on the “Log In” button. The authorization form will appear on the page, click on the link “Forgot my password.

Enter your email address. We will send you a link to recover your password. The link is valid for 24 hours. Check your email and click on the link to reset your password.

If you want to change your current password, go to “Edit Profile” click on “Generate Password” enter your new password or use system generate password and click “Update Profile“.

You can change the information in your profile at any time: add skills, specify prices for services, change your profile photo, or email address.

Selecting categories

You can remove categories from the list or mark new categories that interest you. Subscribe to the Newsletter and you will receive timely notifications about new tasks.

Add more information about yourself.

Tell us about your education; list your best qualities and all the benefits of working with you.

Update your photo

Change the profile photo by clicking on the “Change” button. Choose a clear image for the profile picture.

Add a photo that shows your face clearly, without any obstructions, such as  strangers, objects, animals, etc.

Add your service fee

You can add a fixed or hourly budget for your services. 

Don’t forget to save your changes.

How to change your email address

Go to the “Edit Profile” enter your new email address and click “Update Profile“.

How to attach/reinforce social networks

Go to “Edit Profile” you will see a list of social networks under the “Social Details” section edit the links and click “Update Profile“.

I Can’t Log In

There may be several reasons for being unable to log in to your account.

You forgot your password

If you forgot your password, click on the link “Forgot your password?” and follow the instructions.

Your profile was blocked

Violating the rules of the site caused your profile to be blocked. 

You have deleted your account

If this is the case, you will need to create a new account to access more work. 

A Risk-free Transaction allows you to conveniently and safely pay and receive money for tasks directly to your bank account. The cost of the task is first deducted from the employer’s bank account and stored on an individual account in our payment system. When both parties confirm that the work is complete, the payment is then transferred to the bank account of the task performer. If the task is incomplete, the original amount will be returned to the employer.

If the task is completed successfully. 

Once you note that the task is complete, the payment will automatically transfer to the freelancer’s bank account.

If the task is not completed. 

If  the employer states that the work is incomplete and the freelancer confirms it, the money automatically returns to the employer. When the task is noted as incomplete and it is not confirmed by the freelancer, we will send notifications requesting to identify the status. If the freelancer does not reply within three days, the amount is automatically returned to the employer.

The assignment is completed, but the Employer does not confirm it

We will send notifications to close the order. If he/she does not reply within three days, the payment will automatically transfer to the freelancer’s bank account.

Disputable Situations
If the Freelancer or Employer believes that the work is complete, and the other does not agree, or has left negative feedback, the situation will refer to arbitration. Read more in the article “Risk-free Transaction Arbitration.”

Details and Examples of Calculations

Example 1: %20 Fee

Employer creates a task with the “Risk-free Transaction” for $150. This is the cost the Freelancer will see.

Freelancer’s Commission from this amount will be $120, as Hire Me Center charges a 20% fee for the “Risk-free Transaction” service.

Calculation: $150 –  20% ($30) =$120. 

If the Freelancer agrees with the amount, his proposal will reflect the same amount as indicated by the employer.

When the Employer selects the Freelancer for the task, the money will be deducted from the Employer’s bank account and reserved in the payment system. If the work is done successfully, the Freelancer will receive $120. 

When submitting proposals, the Freelancer and Employer may negotiate the price. They may agree with the price or offer another value for the cost.

Example 2: Different amounts stated by Employer and Freelancer

Employer creates a task with the “Risk-free Transaction” of $150. However, the Freelancer wants more than $150 for the work and has submitted their offer with a price of $170. If the Employer agrees to  this price, it will be deducted from the Employer’s bank account.

Calculation: $170 – 20% ($34) = $136.

When the task is successfully completed, the Freelancer will receive $136 to their bank account.

At the time of selecting a Freelancer, the 20% fee will be included in the total cost of the order.

*All financial operations of money transfers are carried by secure payment systems –  Stripe and PayPal. Your bank may charge an additional commission fee.

When a task has been closed with different status’, (one user indicates that the work is complete, the other user indicates that the job is incomplete), it will be placed in arbitration.

In disputable situations, we act as a third party to understand the issue and determine who should receive the funds stored in the “Risk-free Transaction” task account.

To make a fair decision, the manager of the monitoring service will contact both the Employer and the Freelancer of the assignment and retrieve the details. The more evidence the users provide, the faster the process becomes.

Examples of good evidence to provide:
• Photographs of the work performed
• Signed documents
• Details of correspondence

Example 1:

The Freelancer was the first to point out that the assignment is complete. The Employer indicates that the task is incomplete.

The assignment goes to arbitration, as the parties have different status’. The manager of the monitoring department oversees the situation and decides to whom the reserved money gets transferred.

Example 2:

The Employer was the first to point out that the task is incomplete. The Freelancer states that the job is complete.

The assignment is submitted to arbitration, as the parties have different status’. The manager of the monitoring department oversees the situation and decides to whom the reserved money gets transferred.

Example 3:

The Employer indicates that the task is incomplete and has left negative feedback.

The task immediately enters arbitration. The manager of the monitoring department investigates the situation, evaluates the negative feedback, and decides to whom the reserved money gets transferred.

Example 1:

The Employer approved that the task is complete.

Since the Employer approved that the task is complete, we believe that he/she is satisfied with the result. To speed up the process, we immediately transfer the payment to the Freelancer. An Employer can leave feedback but can no longer change the status.

Example 2:

The Employer claims that the task is not complete. The Freelancer did not confirm the status.

If the Freelancer does not confirm the status of the assignment within three days, we believe that he/she agrees with the customer, and the transaction closed without issue. In this case, the order is considered not complete, and the payment returns to Employer.

Example 3:

The Employer claims  that the task is not complete. The Freelancer stated that the job is not complete.

The reserved payment automatically returns to Employer.

Example 4:

The Freelancer claims that the task is not complete.

If the Freelancer has closed the task with the status “not completed,” the payment is automatically returned to Employer. The Employer can leave feedback but can no longer change the status is completed.

Example 5:

The Freelancer stated that the assignment is complete. The Employer did not specify anything.

If the Employer does not identify the status of the task within three days, the task is closed as completed. As there are no objections from the Employer, the payment automatically transfers to the Freelancer. The Employer can leave feedback, but no longer indicate that the task is not complete.

Example 6:

Both Freelancer and Employer stated that the task is complete.

The reserved amount automatically transfers to the Freelancer.

The maximum term of arbitration is up to 1 month from the moment of receipt of the first complaint. We reserve the right to decide on the methods of assessment of disputable situations.

If the Freelancer or the Customer leaves a negative review, we will contact them to clarify the details. The manager investigates the situation, and as a result of the inspection, issues a warning or blocks the user. In this case, the task does not go to arbitration

How to arrange the free trial lesson with a tutor

If you need a tutor for regular sessions, the Freelancer can offer you a free trial lesson.

Step 1: Create a task. Describe who the tutor is for, what lessons are needed, and how often they are required.
Step 2: Set a price or approximate budget you are looking to pay.
Step 3: Once you start receiving responses from prospective tutors, reply to the ones you like. Confirm that the initial lesson is free and discuss terms and conditions before starting work.

The terms stated in the assignment do not affect the result of the arbitration. The terms are considered by the manager when making the final decision on the arbitration.

One of the important goals of our service is to create a community of reliable Freelancer and Customers who can trust each other.

Inaccurate feedback misleads customers and makes it difficult for honest Freelancer to work at the service.
Therefore, we check the reliability of all reviews in completed tasks.

Gained Feedback

Hire Me Center systematically checks users’ accounts for invalid responses and “gained” feedback. Gained feedback relates to artificially created reviews aiming to influence the rating on Hire Me Center platform services. A user can receive a warning or be blocked if their account shows signs of invalid responses or gained reviews.

1) Why was I banned for gaining the feedback?

The system check confirmed that more than one account was used on the service to artificially influence the rating. This is a violation of our rules and as a result the account gets blocked without the possibility of recovery.

The information will be checked multiple times using various methods prior to being blocked. We will first send an email with a warning that we have detected signs of fraud prior to blocking the user’s access.

2) What evidence of fraud do you have?

To prevent fraud, we do not disclose information about what criteria we use to check it.

3) I have received a warning, what do I do?

Continue to work on the service and adhere to the rules and policies.

If we discover signs of violations in the user’s profile, we will first send a warning and monitor their subsequent activity. The user can continue to work without any restrictions if they abide by the rules.

4) I was blocked, but the paid plan is not over yet, or there is money left on my account.

After blocking the unused days in the unlimited package, the balance will be credited to your account.

5) I made a mistake, can I be unblocked?

If you have already been blocked and not just warned, there is no chance to return to the service. However, if you are upfront about your mistake and bring it to our attention first, we take this into consideration. In rare cases, we treat these matters on a case by case basis.

Before you publish or start performing tasks, read the service rules carefully. For violating the site rules, the user may get a ban or lose the status of the Freelancer.

Reasons for Blocking

Any actions that violate the website rules can result in the user being held liable and getting blocked.

Fraud. We will block the profile if we receive a complaint related to a material claim. For example; the courier left with the money, or the customer did not pay for the work and stopped answering the calls. After blocking,we will contact the customer and the performer to find out the details and, if possible, to help resolve the conflict.

Artificial impact on the rating. Gaining the reviews will lead to a blocked account without the possibility of recovery.

Profile review results. If the results of the passport verification confirm that the user is under 18 years old, the document is invalid (stolen or expired), or uncovers suspicious personal data, the user will be blocked.

Violation of the rules of communication with the service staff. We try to protect our users from meeting with incompetent and rude people during the performance of tasks. Therefore, we reserve the right to block the user for rude communication and behavior.

Complaints from other users. The account may be blocked if we receive and confirm complaints that; the Freelancer or Customer has violated the rules, was rude or improper, or did not follow the agreement.

Use of multiple accounts. Service rules prohibit the use of more than one account. Communication with users of the service from someone acting on the Freelancer’s behalf, or reporting false information about the Freelancer, is prohibited. If such violations are detected, the account may be blocked.

A list of actions where the user may not be able to respond to orders:

The first task is not completed.

If the Freelancer has not completed the first task and received a negative response, he or she may receive a warning or block, depending on the situation.

The job was passed to another person without warning the employer.

The Freelancer may lose his/her status if he/she responds to the task but sends another person (friend, sister, neighbor). This cannot occur without the employer’s consent.

Exchange of contact information outside of the service.

A Freelancer who included an email address, or phone number, contact details of another user, may receive a warning or lose his or her status as a Freelancer.

Violation of the rules of communication.

Insulting users and administration, using improper vocabulary, inciting conflicting situations, all violate the laws. These can result in being deprived of the status of a Freelancer.

Five or more negative reviews.

The user may lose the status of a reliable Freelancer because of negative feedback and systematic complaints about the quality of services provided.

Refusal to perform the task without warning the employer.

If the user was selected as a Freelancer of the task but has changed his/her mind to perform it, he/she should warn the employer about it. Otherwise, in case of a conflict, the user may lose the status of a reliable Freelancer.

Offers Chat
Freelancers and Employers can correspond under offers that Employers create once a Freelancer sends a proposal in response. The public can see this type of chat. If a job is in “Running” status, both the Employer and Freelancer can begin corresponding. Once the project closes,  correspondence will no longer be enabled. A new task must be created for the Freelancer if the Employer wishes to do business with him/her again.

Personal Messages

These are private text messages between Employers and Freelancers who share their Email/Phone Number when selected and agreed on the job terms. Employers can only see the Email/Phone  numbers of Freelancers who issued proposals to their tasks.

By offering your free trial lesson, you increase your chances of getting a new student and regular orders.

If the conditions are right for you, leave a proposal offering the free trial to the employer. Once contacted, confirm with the employer that there will be no charge for the initial lesson before starting work for them.

There is no obligation to continue lessons per HireMe Center guidelines. Still, please ensure you discuss and agree on the terms and conditions with the Freelancer prior to starting work.

Yes. The remaining lessons will cost as much as indicated in the proposal of the Freelancer.

While we strongly suggest you offer a free trial to customers, this is not an obligation. You are free to decide whether to provide one or not.

If there is a disagreement between the Employer and the Freelancer on the results of the work, ex. (one indicated completed work; the other said not), then the task goes to arbitration. All situations are considered individually by our support service specialists. The specialist will contact Employer  and the Freelancer, clarify the details, and make a final decision on the status of the task.

The following are considered by the support specialist when deciding:

• The recorded details of the arrangements
• Before and after photos of the results of the work
• Correspondence on Hire Me chat
•   Payment transfer receipts
• Other relevant evidence and documents

If unable to contact one of the participants of the task, the specialist will decide on the status based on the information gathered.

I left negative feedback and closed the task as not completed, but the user has corrected it. What should I do?

Write an email to contact@hireme.center.

Contact our Support at contact@hireme.center to request on “Delete my profile”. You can not restore a deleted profile. After you confirm, the profile will be deleted.

You cannot restore a profile after deleting it. If you want to use our service again, register a new account.

Payment and Refund Terms:

If you have received a message from us stating that payment is in process, the money will be credited to your account, according to your bank’s regulations. Most bank transfers take between 3-5 business days, some banks however, may take up to 10 days.

Customer

To create a task, log in with your username and password, or register on Hire Me Center. If the system says that “a user with such email/phone already exists,” it means that you already have a profile. Try to remember your login details or contact our support team – our moderators will help you log in to your account.

How to Place A Task?

To find the right service Freelancer, create a task. Just write what you need.

For example: “Clean the aquarium.”

Describe the task in your own words. Explain the details and your budget for the Freelancer to understand and evaluate your order. Click “Publish.”

Following this, the Freelancer will start to leave offers with proposed prices to your task. Carefully read the proposals and profiles of the Freelancer and contact them to clarify the details and costs of services.

As soon as you agree on collaborating, indicate that you have chosen the Freelancer. This way, you will be able to reserve the agreed payment and leave a review of the Freelancer’s work.

On average, Hire Me tasks receive five responses. The maximum number of offers per order is 30. Usually, Freelancers reply within the first two hours after the task was published.

You will be able to locate a service provider either by searching our wide variety of Service Categories or if you know a specific freelancer, you can search by their username.

To search by the username, you can use the search bar available on the top right of the Hire Me homepage. Freelancer’s account will be listed and you can select their account and browse the services they offer.

If you are not interested in any of the suggestions, you can close the task. To do so, go to “Projects,” select  the task and click “Action” and Select “Cancel” option.

The more details you provide, the sooner the right people will respond to your task. If you do not know how much you are willing to pay just yet, give an approximate budget. Discuss the total cost with the performer in a chat before you begin

According to our terms of service, we do not influence decisions on who to conduct business with. We do however, strongly encourage you to take measures to secure yourself.

How to secure yourself

• Pay attention to Freelancers’ feedback

Always read reviews about the person, especially if you intend to entrust them with money or valuable items.

• Create a contract/ Make a receipt

Create and sign a contract when doing business. A simple written form created in your own words detailing the tasks, payment, and terms, e.c.t will be suitable. This will only take a few minutes to prepare and will be beneficial if a dispute that leads to arbitration occurs.

Create a receipt if you will be transferring money or other valuables. Keep records of all services or materials that you paid for; this will assist you in a dispute.

Remember: Without a receipt, contract, or other documents, it can be difficult for you to prove that you have given the user money and other valuables.

Whether you believe it is unnecessary to create a contract or issue a receipt for the task, at least check the Freelancer’s passport data.

Please remember we are not the employer of our Freelancer and do not influence your decision to cooperate. The choice to work with a customer or Freelancer is entirely yours.

We do not participate in agreements and mutual settlements between users. However, we are always ready to join the dialogue in a conflict situation and make every effort to resolve it.

Tasks will not be permitted if they involve the following:

• Break any laws of the United States
• Provide or receive a loan
• Transfer money
• Attract users to third-party resources or sites
• Advertise and distribute services and products (owned or owned by third parties)
• Falsify or change the statistics of websites or the number of subscribers in social networks
• Automatically or manually send invitations and messages to users on social networks, or via email
• Provide erotic services
• Impersonate someone else to take a test, exam, or submit a report online
• Buy prescription drugs without a prescription
• Work with cryptocurrencies
• Engage in online business
• Buy something without compensation or pay for customer services
• Forge documents, seals, official papers, medical certificates, etc.
• Photograph cheques

In the “Task offers” section, Freelancers see all available tasks. If you don’t see your task contact our support team, we will promptly review your order and publish it if all is well.

If you haven’t selected a Freelancer yet, you can change the terms and conditions of your task. Go to “Projects” and choose project that you want to edit. Click on “Action button” and select Edit option.

What can be changed

Description. Add details or edit conditions. Attach a photo with examples of similar work to help the performers better understand the task and estimate the cost.

Time. You don’t need to know the exact start and finish times right away, provide a rough idea in the meantime. You can always discuss them with the Freelancer in person and update them on the task, if necessary.

The task closes automatically two weeks after the specified completion date. If the task is closed to suggestions, change the date – the Freelancer will see it again and will be able to respond to it.

Cost. It is not always possible to set the price right away. If you want more offers, try to increase your budget.

Sometimes Freelancer need to change prices to reflect what has agreements made. If the task has already closed to proposals, change the time so that he/she can do it.

When a job is marked complete, it closes automatically. If a task is no longer relevant to you before the deadline, you can cancel it.

Go to “Projects” and choose project that you want to cancel. Click on “Action button” and select Cancel option. Freelancer will no longer see it listed.

Before we open the opportunity to respond to the tasks, we ask the Freelancers to fill out a questionnaire and check their data. To make the right choice, read the proposal and review the performer’s profile. Here’s what you should look at:

1. Rating

The rating of Freelancers is calculated in each city, category and subcategory of services separately. It is based on:
• The number of completed tasks
• Customer ratings and feedback
• Activity on Hire Me

2. Reviews

Only those who have already worked with the Freelancer can write reviews. Reviews can help determine how
responsible a Freelancer is, how well he/she communicates, and their best attributes.

3. Badges and awards

Freelancers receive them for various achievements on Hire Me. 

4. Confirmation of documents

Verified performers – are checked by passport or ID.

5. Profile

On the page of each Freelancer, there is a photo, information about him, and a list of services that he/she provides. Pay attention to the categories in which the Freelancer works. If he/she has specified the prices for his/her work, review them.

Ways to contact

You can contact the Freelancer initially by email or via chat. The Freelancer’s phone number is provided once he/she agrees to do the task.

We recommend you clarify the details of the work and agree on the conditions in the chat room. You, as the customer, are the only ones who can start a conversation. The Freelancer does not have the opportunity to write to you first.

You will have the opportunity to leave feedback after the job is complete. It is always best to do this because: – Feedback influences the number of orders and the amount of money that the Freelancer can earn from the service, so he/she will be more esponsible in his/her or her work. If anything goes wrong, you can contact Hire Me’s support.

Pay by credit card, using the “Risk-free Transaction.” The money is reserved and will be transferred to the Freelancer only after the order is marked complete. Otherwise, the funds are returned to the customer.

Risk-free Transaction - If you're a Customer:

Before assigning a Freelancer to the task, be sure to agree with him/her on the cost of the work. When you select the Freelancer, your card will be charged the price specified in the proposal. If the agreed upon price of the task differs from this amount, ask the Freelancer to change it.

Do not hire a Freelancer until you have agreed on the final cost of the work. If you are unable to agree with one candidate, consider other proposals for the assignment.

The risk-free functionality of the transaction does not allow you to change the reserved amount. If the cost of the service changes in the course of the work, you can:
▪ Create another task for the selected Freelancer and complete the remainder of the “Risk-free Transaction”
▪ Make the final payment outside of Hire Me Center.

The maximum amount of the transaction is $10,000. The minimum is $15. You can make a payment with your Amex, Visa/Master card, Debit card, or PayPal account

You can link the card information to your profile and use it for your future payments.

Payment for a “Risk-free Transaction” is secure. All payments are verified by Visa Security System and MasterCard Secure Code.

Hire Me Center does not store credit card data. We have only the last four digits available to us so that we can pass on
the transaction to the payment system support team.

Yes. If you want to use another card, enter the new data in your account settings.

If you have any questions, you can contact our support team.

The cost of the task is deducted from your credit card and stored in a special account in the payment system until the work is complete. When the task is successfully completed, the money goes to the bank account of the Freelancer. If the task is not completed, the funds return to your account.

When creating your task, check the option for payment using a credit card. After selecting a Freelancer, the cost of the task will be reserved on the account’s service platform.

Once you note that the task is complete, the payment automatically transfers to the bank account of the Freelancer.

If you state that the work has not been completed and the Freelancer confirms it, the money automatically returns to the customer. When you note that the task is not complete and it is not closed by the Freelancer, we will send him/her a request to confirm the status. If the Freelancer does not reply within three days, the amount is automatically returned to the customer.

A commission of 20% of the order will be withheld when using the transaction without risk. The amount of the commission is added to the cost of the task.

Securely pay for tasks using the “Risk-free Transaction”

A Risk-free Transaction allows you to conveniently and safely pay for tasks and receive payment to your bank account. The cost of the task is deducted from the customer’s bank account and stored on an individual account in the payment system. If the task is completed, the performer will receive their money automatically. If it is not fulfilled, the amount will return to the customer.

Find more information about the service provided

Explore the Freelancer’s profile. There are two types of Freelancer on Hire Me Center: verified and non-verified. The verified Freelancer confirmed his/her identity online by providing a passport. Hire Me Center confirms that the passport data is valid, and the Freelancer is not in the criminal database.

Hire Me Center checks only personal contact information, (email), for the non-verified performer. All other information in their profile is not confirmed. If you are giving valuable items to the Freelancer, be sure to check and record the passport data.

Reviews

The more positive feedback the Freelancer has, the better the chances he/she is trustworthy and will provide quality services. See what other customers say about the Freelancer, especially if you are giving them your money or valuables.

Badges and Awards

Hire Me Center awards active Freelancer with badges for various achievements. Icons appear in the profile of performers who value their reputation.

Date of Registration and Confirmed Contacts

The earlier the Freelancer registered for the service, the more chances that he/she knows the rules of service and knows how to make great deals with customers. You can also see social networks on the profile.

Get the Paperwork

We recommend that the terms and conditions of collaboration with the Freelancer, and the process of implementing the agreements are always finalized and documented. Producing the relevant documents will take no more than 5-10 minutes and will help you defend your position in the event of a dispute.

When transferring money, goods or other valuables to the Freelancer, ask him/her to write a receipt, (accompanied with the Freelancer’s passport data), which will remain with you until the work is complete.

With some tasks, you cannot get a receipt from the Freelancer before you start work, because you do not meet with him/her personally. For example, if you’re requested to “arrive at point A, pick up the goods, give them to me at point B.” In this case, ask the person who will hand over the goods to make a receipt with the courier.

Check the passport/ID.

If you are not ready to create documents, check the passport/ID data of the Freelancer before conducting business. Take a picture of the pages with the name and registration or write down the data.

When creating a task, you can require that the Freelancer must bring a passport/ID to process the documents. An outright refusal to provide documents is a reason to consider whether it is worthwhile to work with this person.

Refuse to cooperate if another person comes to perform the task.

Hire Me Center service providers perform tasks in person. They can send another person instead, only if the customer agreed.

If another person comes to perform your task, and the performer did not warn you, do not trust him/her with money, goods, or other valuables. Refuse to cooperate and let us know.

Pay only for finished work.

By clicking on the “Task completed” button, you confirm that the service is completed, and you are satisfied with the result.

Make sure that the Freelancer:

▪ Completed the work.
▪ Made all corrections.
▪ Provided you with the finished work.

How to become a Freelancer on Hire Me?
Anyone over 18 years old can perform on Hire Me platform services. You need to register for the service and go through the verification procedure (detailed below):
  1. Click on Register
  2. Learn the rules of working on Hire Me and read the basic safety rules when working with customers on the service platform.
  3. Fill out the form by entering your information:
    • Name:
    • Email address:
    • Password:
    • Select Role
  4. Create your profile. Write about your professional experiences, achievements, and best qualities.
  5. Perform a Background check: Submit your passport/ID. This is a voluntary action, but the “Proven Freelancer” icon will increase customer confidence in your profile and help you get more assignments.

When Can Compensation Be Obtained?

Hire Me provides compensation for the damage caused by the Freelancer in a “Risk-free Transaction”. The maximum amount of compensation is $1000. If the Freelancer causes material damage to the customer while working on a task, Hire Me will provide compensation. Lost profits and personal injuries are not compensated.

Examples of When Compensation Can Be Obtained:

▪ The Freelancer and the customer recorded the agreements in the published assignment on Hire Me (the parties did not cooperate directly aside from the Hire Me platform services).
▪ The Freelancer was selected in the task.
▪ Payment for the order was reserved through the service ““Risk-free Transaction”.”
▪ If the Freelancer received the material assets according to the terms of the order, and the field “Parcel value” was filled in the order.
▪ A task with the condition, “Take the payment for the goods from the recipient and return it to the
customer”, that was marked in the form of creating the task.
▪ The selected Freelancer on the Hire Me service has the status “Passport confirmed” or “Verified,” or the customer can provide passport data of the performer (issued receipt).

Applications for compensation from third parties are not accepted.

What must be contained in the application:
1. A link to the order
2. A brief description of the situation explaining how the material damage was caused
3. A receipt, photographs, and other evidence.

We try to deal with disputable situations as quickly as possible and compensate for material damage without lengthy proceedings. In cases where additional information needs to be collected, however, it can take several business days to review the situation. Please take this into consideration and thank you for understanding.

To clarify the details, we may request to provide passport data and other documents.

If you want to increase the efficiency of your profile and perform more tasks on the service, we recommend you pass the verification of documents and become a verified performer.

This status will add bonus points to the rating, and your suggestions will be displayed above the feedback of others.

Verification Process:

Document verification is online and only takes a few minutes.
1. Your passport and one good quality portrait photo
2. Get the status of a Hire Me Freelancer.
3. If you are already a Freelancer, go to your profile and click “Verification.”
4. Upload a photo of your passport.
5. Download your profile photo.

Requirements for documents:
1. The verification can only be done with a Passport or ID.
2. The image of the passport should have a page with a photo and information about who issued the document and when.
3. The image should be of high quality, without glare. Do not process it in photoshop or other visual editors.
4. The image format should be JPG.

Wait for the results of the verification. It usually takes no more than 5 minutes but can last up to 24 hours. Once the documents are successfully validated, a “Verified Freelancer” icon will appear in your profile to increase confidence in your services.

Business Study Market Inc. and Hire Me Center’s administration will check the passport data. Hire Me does not keep the data in its possession.

Check if the image meets the requirements. If the photo is of the required quality and format, but you can’t upload it, please contact our support team.

Don’t worry if the photo in your passport is taken long ago. If the verification does not pass automatically, the administration will check the profile photo.

Those who have not confirmed their documents can use the service as usual, but their suggestions will be displayed below the feedback from verified Freelancer.

You can send documents for verification as many times as you like. Prepare a quality photo and upload it again.

You have not passed the passport check. We reserve the right not to assign a “verified user status” or block the profile based on the results of the inspection.

Before you publish or start performing tasks, read the service rules carefully. For violating the site rules, the user may get a ban or lose the status of the Freelancer.

Reasons for Blocking

Any actions that violate the website rules can result in the user being held liable and getting blocked.

Fraud. We will block the profile if we receive a complaint related to a material claim. For example; the courier left with the money, or the customer did not pay for the work and stopped answering the calls. After blocking,we will contact the customer and the Freelancer to find out the details and, if possible, to help resolve the conflict

Feedback is a person’s opinion of the process and outcome of the assignment. It is protected by copyright, so we cannot hide or change it. Only the author of the review is entitled to do so.

The review can be edited within 30 days of its publication.

We recommend that all Freelancer do this. For example, if you’re working as a courier, upload photos with a parcel or bouquet in your hand.

Please note: it is forbidden to enter any contact information in your profile, (email, links to third party services).

Searching for a specific Gig is easy. You will be able to find a Gig by searching any keywords related to the type of services you are interested in.

You can also find gig by selecting particular category and skills which filter the relavent gig for you.

After you leave a proposal for the job, the customer will be able to contact you or ask a question in a personal chat. Discuss the details of the services. If a Risk-free transaction is not selected in the project, agree on a convenient method of payment.

Ask the customer to choose you as the Freelancer for the service. Once they do this, you will receive an email with the customer’s name and contact info. Call and thank the customer for doing business with you, confirm the details of the service, and start working.

Feedback helps us build a community of trusted Hire Me Freelancer and customers. After completing the task, be sure to indicate the work is completed, and leave a review of the customer. Don’t forget to remind him/her to leave a review about you as well. The more positive feedback you get on your profile, the more often you will receive offers.

Immediately after the first assignment.

We try to maintain healthy competition, so over time, the impact of old tasks on the Freelancer’s rating gradually decreases. Each new, completed order with positive feedback gets a significant increase.

If the Freelancer has not completed any task within six months, his/her rating is hidden. When a new proposal is added, it starts to be calculated again, considering all the past achievements. Upon completion of the next task, the rating is fully restored.

To raise your rating, complete your profile, add your portfolio, verify your ID/Passport, and get as many good reviews as possible for the completed tasks.

Risk-free Transaction - If you're Freelancer:

Be sure to agree on the final cost of the work before the customer selects you as the Freelancer of the assignment. When you are chosen as the Freelancer, the price specified in your offer will be deducted from the customer’s credit card. If you agreed on another amount, do not forget to change your offer.

The risk-free functionality of the transaction does not allow you to change the reserved amount. If the cost of the service changes in the course of the work, you can:
▪ Ask the customer to create a task specifically for you and carry out the remaining amount of the “Riskfree Transaction”
▪ Make the final payment outside of Hire Me.

The maximum amount of the Transaction is $10,000. The minimum is $15. You can make a payment with your Amex, Visa/Master card, Debit card, or PayPal account.

You can link the card information to your profile and use it for your future payments.

Payment for a “Risk-free Transaction” is secure. All payments are verified by Visa Security System and MasterCard Secure Code.

Hire Me does not store credit card data. We have only the last four digits available to us so that we can pass on the transaction to the payment system support team

As soon as the customer chooses you as the Freelancer, the cost of the task is reserved. The money is kept in an individual account in the payment system until the work is finished. With the job completed, the amount is credited to your bank account. If work is not fulfilled, the payment will return to the customer.

If there is no “Risk-free Transaction” icon in the task, ask the customer to use this service. Select the payment with a credit card method when sending the offer.

The customer may accept your offer or prefer to pay in cash. If you only want to work with the “Risk-free Transactions”, respond to the tasks in which you have chosen to pay with a credit card

If you mark the work completed and the customer does not specify the status of the task, we will send him/her a request to close the order. If the customer does not reply within three days, the payment automatically transfers to your bank account.

There is no fee for performers of “Transaction without risk”. Customers are charged a commission for the use of the platform service.

If the Freelancer or customer indicates that the work is done and the other disagrees, or leaves negative feedback, the case is referred to arbitration. Read more in the article “Risk-free Transaction Arbitration.”

Unfortunately, some people will attempt to ruin the trust created by the service and deceive the performers. We manage to prevent many fraudulent schemes in advance, but further precautions are still necessary.

These recommendations will help you avoid fraudsters when performing tasks:

Leave offers with a condition of payment through the platform service “Risk-free Transaction”.

The Risk-free Transaction allows you to conveniently and safely pay for tasks and receive payment. The cost of the task is deducted from the customer’s bank account and stored on an individual account in the payment system. If the task is completed, the Freelancer receives a payment. If not fulfilled, the amount returns to the customer.

Be cautious in the tasks where your expenses are required.

A fraudulent customer might ask the Freelancer to buy the goods, coupon, ticket, gift, pay for the service online, pay the phone balance or virtual account, transfer money to a third party, etc. They might promise a reimbursement and never hold their end of the bargain. Be very cautious if you are asked to spend your own money.

In some cases, the task describes another service that is not related to expenses, examples: to clean the apartment, move the cargo, repair the refrigerator, etc. While the Freelancer is working on this, the customer calls and asks them to make a payment urgently or buy some goods, promising to provide a reimbursement upon meeting.

If the task you are performing is risky, it is recommended that you get your money first.

Offer to make a risk-free payment through the transaction or to transfer the pre-payment to your card. Does the customer refuse? Ask why. If the reason is, “no such possibility”, “the card is blocked”, “issued by a rare bank, etc., say that you do not have the necessary amount of money with you either. Offer to meet in person, use cash and exchange receipts for proof.

If the customer cannot make an advance payment and is not ready to consider other options, proceed with caution.

If, after your refusal, the customer starts to blackmail you with a negative review, please contact our support team immediately.

Be careful with the task if you are required to install a mobile app to test a website.

If the customer asks you to download a mobile app or to send a text to install, be careful. With the help of such programs, fraudsters can access the bank account management tied to your phone and transfer money from it without your knowledge.

We also recommend that you do not enter your credit card details on suspicious websites, or mobile applications if requested by the customer.

Carefully check the customer’s profile.

▪ Look when the customer registered on Hire Me; the longer they stay on the service, the more reliable they are.
▪ Read reviews from other Freelancers. It’s possible that they regularly create jobs and always pay for them. If not, see what type of orders they’ve completed to check if anything seems suspicious.
▪ Pay attention to the rating from Freelancers who have left feedback.

A Brief Snapshot of Recommendations:

▪ Leave offers with a condition of payment through the “Risk-free Transaction”.
▪ Be careful when fulfilling the customer’s request to pay for something at your expense.
▪ Do not install suspicious apps or programs on your device at the customer’s request.
