From our company’s inception building the TASER device to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we’re going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of police records so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won’t stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.
It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.
Imagine this: You work at a company whose goal is to make the bullet obsolete. I know. It’s nuts. It’s controversial. But solving really hard problems isn’t easy. It is, however, terribly exciting. Axon is is diving hard into storytelling at the mass level to educate, inspire and propel public safety into the 21st Century. Short films, documentaries, fantastic social content…whatever it takes. We’re creating VR to provide empathy training so officers are empowered to de-escalate situations in nonlethal ways (Yes!). Our social team is growing and we’re doing some of the craziest work you are ever likely try in your career.
Own the execution of the social program — scheduling posts, promoting content, managing the community, and reporting on performance
Manage to report of social metrics and report out to key stakeholders while also being able to identify wins/losses in content-based metrics
Managing all brand advocate/influencer relationships while also identifying future opportunities to support increased brand awareness for key audiences/channels
Provide and complete excellent community management across key platforms that is on tone with Axon’s voice and brand
Ability to capture content at live events/experiences for real-time social content
Continuously identify new trends, from channels to content, to inform future social strategy and opportunities
